Anyone on Facebook for more than a day has noticed this trend:\u00a0 People apply to join a closed group, and once they’re approved will create an initial post that says something like…<\/p>\n

In true Grump fashion I have to ask:\u00a0 Why is this necessary?\u00a0 Ok, it’s… nice.\u00a0 It’s polite.\u00a0 It doesn’t hurt anything… except forcing everyone to spend time and knuckle muscles to scroll by that tripe.\u00a0 But is it necessary?\u00a0 Does it help anything?<\/p>\n

One has to wonder… what are they really<\/em> trying to say?\u00a0 They’re such a renown a-hole known the world over they’re literally surprised any group would actually accept them?\u00a0 Shocking even to them.<\/p>\n
