\"\"What’s wrong with me?\u00a0 For that matter, what’s wrong with Missy?\u00a0 We both like to sleep.\u00a0 A lot.\u00a0 Nothing beats a good nap, and I know we’re not alone.\u00a0 I know many friends who feel the same way.\u00a0 Now, we’re not quite as bad as the little girl in the photo… yet.\u00a0 We’re on our way, though.<\/p>\n

Missy’s on the verge of falling asleep next to me as I write this at 10 pm, watching a recently-passed Tim Conway tribute on Carol Burnett & Friends.\u00a0 But I digress…<\/p>\n

I can sleep anywhere.\u00a0 In Army basic training I would sleep in an open field across the road from a machine gun range.\u00a0 I’ve slept on the sidewalk outside a stadium the night before an all-day concert.\u00a0 I’ve slept on the floor of a Greyhound bus on the way back from Grad Night at Disneyland.\u00a0 You name it, I’ve slept there.\u00a0 Not like George Washington, of course, but still…<\/p>\n

The last skit had Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, and Bernadette Peters.\u00a0 This next sketch has Tim, Harvey, and some random women.\u00a0 Tim and Harvey are pick-up artists.\u00a0 Harvey’s the smooth one.<\/p>\n

But yes, I can sleep pretty much anywhere.\u00a0 White noise?\u00a0 Only helps.\u00a0 Food coma?\u00a0 Routine.\u00a0 Music?\u00a0 Yep.\u00a0 i’LL… oops, hit the CapsLock key… there we go… I’ll go to bed in a few minutes and pretty much guaranteed I’ll be asleep within three minutes.\u00a0 (I think Missy’s jealous of that.)\u00a0 About the only place I don’t fall asleep is when I drive.\u00a0 I can drive for hours, day or night, and am good.\u00a0 And I love a good road trip!\u00a0 (Can I get an “Amen!”, Eddie?)<\/p>\n
