Ken in a Nutshell<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ken has been an aspiring curmudgeon since Ken was probably 5 years old.\u00a0 According to both of Ken’s parents, Ken’s kindergarten teacher referred to Ken as “…not a kid, but a little man.”\u00a0 Ken actually kind of liked that, and has always considered it a compliment.\u00a0 Even as a kid, other kids annoyed the crap out of Ken.\u00a0 Kids are so… childish.\u00a0 Spare Ken the drama.<\/p>\n

Ken is also opinionated.\u00a0 VERY opinionated.\u00a0 Sometimes painfully opinionated.\u00a0 Always has been, probably always will be.\u00a0 Ken is impatient and gets annoyed easily.\u00a0 Ken can be very quiet in social situations, until he gets to know you, and you should always be wary of the quiet ones.\u00a0 Ken has observed that other very quiet people are often the most opinionated.\u00a0 Maybe that’s because we spend our time observing, and that gives us a perspective on just how dumb the world can be.\u00a0 Ken swears, sometimes he just wants to drop his jaw and look at the world in disbelief.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Ken has very strong views on politics, but this blog will not be politically heavy.\u00a0 Ken might make an occasional political comment or reference for context, but nothing deep.\u00a0 We’re not delving into the soul-sucking abyss-like black holes of abortion or the death penalty, or anything like that.\u00a0 This is a blog about Ken’s opinions and observations of everyday life.\u00a0 The heavy political stuff will be reserved for elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Ken has an irreverent sense of humor, and finds humor in things that offends other people… often.\u00a0 This is often mistaken for seriousness or a window into Ken’s true views, so Ken has had to learn discretion depending on who Ken’s audience is, but nothing could be further from the truth.\u00a0 It’s just stuff that Ken finds funny, nothing more and nothing less.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
